ONE PIECE 1072 SLAPS👏 HARD👏
This is the best chapter I’ve read in a while ! And that’s a feat because Egghead has been fantastic !
Spoilers under the cut. I might or might not have commented every panel.
Tumblr media
> I am a sucker for narrative intros ! I am a sucker for narrative intros ESPECIALLY if they are extracted from a journal or diary.  And this narrative intro is so full of emotions ! Good for you Vegapunk ! Go rock that science !
> It is ironic that MADS is called “Laboratory of Peace” when the previous page was basically this:
Tumblr media
> The page displays each of the mad scientist with his preferred field of study.
> I doubt Vegapunk knew about what was going down in his “Lab of Peace”; he did hate what Ceasar did in Punk Hazard. So they probably hid it well or made it sound “for the better good and the advancement of science” like for the DFs reproduction. And it’s not like their founds were lacking : Du Feld kept on pumping money in because weapons made him good money.
> And it’s crazy how much info Oda can drop in a single panel because this one has every mad scientist with his preferred field in hand: Ceaser with the smile fruit, Queen with the chemical weapons, and Judge with the spear that ultimately became his weapon of choice. It even has the little yellow tube and all.
Tumblr media
Picture from OP PIRATE WARRIORS 4.
Tumblr media
> Then Bonney being a little shit and Vegapunk being a worried grandpa. Cute.
Tumblr media
> This Bonney form reminds me of Luffy in his Nika form. It’s both funny and interesting because Bonney vibes well with Luffy and I like to think that they arrived to the same conclusions about what they should do with their fruits.
Tumblr media
> Excuse me ??? This is too cute ???? I like that bonney is a strong powerful pirate but her power is still girly and cute ! Look at the cute stars ! And there’s a heart ! And look at Vegapunk he’s such a cute baby !!!
Tumblr media
> I bet that Oda loves drawing Bonney, because every panel she’s in, she looks gorgeous.
Tumblr media
> Ah yes, the classic juxtaposition of dramatic dialogue with a dramatic scene relating to that dialogue. :’)
> You can actually see how much Vegapunk cares for Kuma here. But still, very valid reaction from Bonney. You go girl !
> Vegapunk and Bonney are both growing on me more and more each chapter.
Tumblr media
> I stared at those 2 panels for a good 30 seconds. I can’t even describe how they made me feel.
> Because of course... Because obviously... Obviously Kuma pushed out his own memories... This was so obvious and no one ever considered it. God fucking dammit Oda.
Tumblr media
> I am still not sure about the origin of DFs. Maybe they are magical, maybe they are man made. But this dialog is very important because we might not understand how things happen, but we can study how they affect the world around them. That’s a cornerstone of science and i’m so happy with how it’s depicted.
Also:
Tumblr media
> The greek alphabet is canon.
And
> World reknown scientist DR VEGAPUNK needs to draw a small circuit with coil and capacitator to remember his electro-magnetism rules. Can’t blame him.
Tumblr media
> Oh Brook is in a shirt, that’s cute ! Keep up the theme of the island peeps !
Tumblr media
> Kaku awakened his giraffe fruit ?? How ?? (Theory time: I’m betting it’s related to the nature of the fruit. Once you reach a certain level in power and creativity, you can awaken your fruit. And the wilder the strength it represents, the harder it gets. But if you’re like... a giraffe, that should be easier than a leopard.)
Tumblr media
> Look mate, as long as the crew and VP’s Brain are safe, this is meaningless. But yeah sure have your fun destroying things !
Tumblr media
> I am delecting myself with the taste of Stussy’s betrayal. This is a face a love seeing on Lucci. Hit him where it hurts <3
Tumblr media
> And what a way to end a chapter. Vampire Stussy ? Or is she a succubus ? Hell yeah ! Of course she was the one Vegapunk called ! And of course she’s a clone ! Vegapunk mentionned that the Seraphim were the pinacle of all his experiences ! And they are CLONES ! So of course he cloned people !!! And the cover story from chapter 1070 ? That wasn’t Stussy ! That was Miss Buckingham !
Miss Buckingham, from the Rocks Pirates, WORKED WITH MADS!!!!
I can’t with this chapter anymore ! Thank you Oda !!!

One Piece Manga Ch. #1092 "Tyrant Kuma's rampage through the holy land" SPOILERS
First reactions
Tumblr media
Very good Kuma
Tumblr media
HE MADE HIMSELF GIGANT
Tumblr media
...wait you cross the barrier
Thoughts
Tumblr media
Okey, we came back to the side story of Kuma, who was not going back to Mary Geoise but crossing the RedLine, although he doesn't seem to be consious, Akainu says he still bleeds. It seems he may be going back to Bonney. Why though?
The fight between Kizaru and Luffy starts right away the admiral seem to have advantage taking our captain out of the dome and destroying vega-force 01 in the process. However Luffy crosses through the barrier and MAKES HIMSELF GIGANT.
Honestly I don't know why I'm amaze by this, we know the ""gomu gomu"" is only limited by the users imagination but it still incredible seeing it in action
Tumblr media
Borsalino seem to really dislike his Jon at this moment and maybe the story is setting him up to betray the marines, you know, we would have Kuzan who left, Borsalino who betrays and Akainu who is fully in synch with the marines ideology
Tumblr media
Finally they keep calling Bonney a child, I know that to Kizaru someone her age must be a child but I have seen people theorising Bonney being and actual child so now I am scared
Tumblr media
Oh yeah and the ancient robot is waking up

i see one piecetubers constantly expressing confusion that kuma still hasn't become king yet and simply, i think in a series that explicitly confirms that there's media manipulation—the simple answer is that; the sins of the previous king was given to kuma to cover-up the sorbet kingdom's liberation by the revolutionaries.

"If you were to travel, where would you like to go?"

That was a hard question. If she could travel anywhere, where would she go? A soft sigh escaped.

parallel between doflamingo and kuma
Tumblr media
The sheer brilliance of these 2 polar opposites being introduced in the same panel.. Slave vs Celestial Dragon Tyrant king (benevolent) vs Benevolent king (Tyrant) A pacifist vs a man who wants the world to burn A Puppet vs a Puppeteer Believed in God vs thought himself God etc.
Tumblr media
A man born a celestial dragon in the heavens and brought down to reality vs a man born a slave who rose up to royalty
A devil fruit used to trap people vs a devil fruit used to send you where you desire/ “hands of liberation”
Parallels to Jesus including crucification and the ability to perform miracles
Both had fathers who would be gunned down in front of them but in very different ways
Doflamingo believing the strong are on top and determine what’s good and evil vs Kuma believing that a person’s worth or character shouldn’t be defined at birth

A new nickname for Dragon has been drifting around following the Egghead Incident: the Father of Devils.
With the reports that Strawhat Luffy has assassinated Vegapunk and rallied the giants of Elbaf under his banner, the world is viewing him less as an infamous pirate and more of this terrifying mythical figure. A voracious force of nature who terrorizes the seas, laughing maniacally all the while as he schemes mass destruction with the Demon Child Nico Robin hunting the Pineglyphs on his behalf.
His brother, the Flame Emperor, has spilled the blood of one of the founding families of the World Government. He's stirring more kingdoms into rebellion than ever before, poisoning the minds of the people at a rate faster than even the Insurgent Serpent with both of his heads speaking together ever could.
There are even rumors that at least two, potentially even four, of Vegapunk's most recent creations, the weapons of Justice, have been seen in the vicinity of Dragon. One of them is thought to be possessed by the ghost of the Tyrant King Kuma (urban legends about robots possessed by the souls of the dead also seem to be on the rise post-Egghead).
What horrors has Monkey D. Dragon, that whirlwind of evil, unleashed upon these rising seas?
Dragon doesn’t like using fear tactics. Never had, not even during his hot-blooded and furious days with the Freedom Fighters. Fear did terrible, sometimes irreparable, things to the mind.
It was a tool used by those in power who were losing their grip on it day by day. With the rising number of recruits and refugees headed their way, it was clear that this was the case.
Sabo brings him the latest newspaper, damn near crying with laughter. The current infernal imagery has been a riot with the commanders.
‘THE KING OF HELL COURTS THE WORLD! THE FLAME EMPEROR THE FALSE SUN AND THE DEVIL CHILD OF OHARA BORN OF HELLFIRE? WHO ELSE WILL RISE FROM THIS UNHOLY UNION?’
Cut to Dragon sipping his third cup of coffee thoughtfully before asking:
“Do they really think I get around that much?”
Edit: so my friend @krzdragon has a mini au/headcanon about the WG using infernal terminology with the RA by naming its commanders after the seven deadly sins, which would be highly relevant to this discussion.

back on my bullshit, (im here to spam you Marine Luffy stuff)
Thinking about Marine Luffy’s dynamic with the 7 warlords and it's one of the funniest things ever.
Boa Hancock is going to get her own post because I have SO MUCH to say about her and Canon! Luffy along with Marine Luffy’s dynamic with her.
Anyway, personal headcanons of what I think Marine Luffy and the Warlords dynamics are.
Doflamingo: Luffy is usually the one who during Warlord meetings has to deal with Doflamingo’s bullshit. This is partially because Luffy is the only thing that really puts the fear of god back into Doflamingo. Also, Marine luffy is absolutely feral, and terrifying, and does indeed bite. I think in some twisted ways Luffy in this AU reminds Doflamingo of when he's younger. In some fucked up way of trying to cope with trauma Doflamingo tries to simulate situations that he went through as a kid to see how Luffy reacts. To see if things had been a bit better, if things had been different, if Doflamingo could have been a better person. The Dressrosa Arc still happens in this AU except a bit later. As Doflamingo’s tyrant rein finally falls he realizes that “huh maybe we never were that similar…”
(I have no idea if this AU is a Crocomom AU or not but I’ll go ahead and write up how it would go in either situations.)
Crocodile: Dynamic is definitely more cold and distant than in an AU where Crocodile is Luffy’s other parent. Luffy is seen as a threat, and Crocodile has at least 15 different drawn-up plans on how to deal with him. (none of these plans would actually work in practice.) The dynamic is pretty much just business, you leave me be I’ll leave you be.
Crocomom: Similar to the first one. Except the first time he meets Luffy and he hears that he's Garp's grandkid he's freaking the fuck out. Because holyshit, that's his alive, grownup, kid. Crocodile has no idea how to explain to Luffy that like “hey im your biological mother, now a man, hahaha…” So Crocodile simply doesn't. (The two of them do have a heart-to-heart much later alone in Impel down during the breakout.)
Moria: Honestly I don't have much to say about him. Luffy absolutely hates Hogback and Absolom though. So Luffy has a dislike for Moria and what he does. But Moria out of all the warlords not including Kuma is the easiest to deal with, so that earns him some brownie points.
Kuma: Im not sure if you caught up with the latest chapters. (specifically his backstory chapters) so I will be staying silent for now as not to spoil anything for you.
Mihawk: Mihawk is both intrigued and concerned at the beginning. Because that is Shank’s hat, and Shank’s kid. Why is Shank’s brat in the Marines?? Mihawk also like all the other warlords tends to use Luffy as some form of a coping mechanism. It's not uncommon to hear about Luffy and Mihawk getting into another physical fight. But after a while, Mihawk does realize that he has been accidentally treating Luffy as if he is Shanks. Mihawk realizes that he can't force Luffy to become his new sparring partner. Luffy is not Shanks, and he can't fill that hole either. After Marine Ford Mihawk reads the news regularly, a rare grin on his face whenever he catches sight of a straw hat.
Jinbei: That is Luffy’s emotional support parental figure your honor! The only one who is normal, safe, and sane. Also, the only one to look at Luffy and go “Are you okay?? I don't think healthy humans are supposed to act like that.” Also, the one to get Luffy to open up and heal slowly after Marineford. Also Luffy definitely knows the full truth of what happened to Fisher Tiger in this AU, so yeah that's something.
(I am so sorry, this is a really long post 💀)
Aaaahhhhhh!!! I've missed you and your bullshit bombarding my asks!
I love how with each dynamic all of them are also like, 'alright this kid is fucked up, keep an eye on him' but for different reasons
So here are some of my thoughts on what Marine Luffy’s relationship is with the warlords (love yours so much)
Crocodile : so unfortunately not a coco-mom au, like you said their relationship is strictly business, Luffy doesn't really care for the warlords as long as they don't get in his way.
Domflamingo : Luffy finds him kinda annoying so he tries to avoid any situation where he would meet him, unfortunately he can't at warlord meetings, but he's tried, probably one of the only warlords Luffy wouldn't mind punching out of the blue, dude would punch him without reason (gets away with it too)
Kuma : (no sadly not that far yet but I know a bit of his background not much though) but Luffy likes him
Moria : almost the same relationship as Domflamingo, except he just straight up avoids him, unless he has to deal with Moria then he will and he'll do it quickly
Mihawk : one of the few warlords Luffy actually respects, he admires his fighting and his character, granted it annoyed him a bit to constantly be reminded of Shanks, like you said he also like the other warlords used luffy as some form of coping, but after he realized what he did he stopped and him and Luffy kinda became like gossip buddies, like they'd hang out whenever Mihawk was in the area, but Luffy wouldn't actively seek him out, Mihawk would have to come to him if he wanted someone to talk to or spar with,
Jimbe : only warlord and person that Luffy actually likes from the warlords, yes he likes Mihawk, but Jimbe is different, Luffy has a sort of awe for Jimbe and felt very honored to know about him and his past with Fisher Tiger, Jimbe is the only one who knows that Luffy secretly wishes he was a pirate instead of a Marine, when Jimbe asked why Luffy didn't just become a pirate now Luffy replied saying that he's made so many promises to the people he protects that he doesn't want to go back, not now at least, Jimbe is also the only one who knows about Ace and Sabo and how much Luffy misses them and how proud he is of them
absolutely love your asks 🩷
Have aa good day/night

My One Piece Oc Jackie's opinions on people and organizations in OP
The Strawhats: she really likes them! Be able to visit them even if just for a moment make her work day infinitely better. She knows as a member of the press she has a duty to be unbiased buttt nobody actually follows that so it’s fine. Though she knows that the race to the top is anyone’s game, if she had a personal favourite that was no one’s business but hers.
The Heart Pirates: she can tell how much their captain distrusts her and she respects it in all honestly. He never turns her away anyhow so it’s never an issue and the crew has an infectious sense of humour and camaraderie. They crowd around her and ask for all the juicy gossip the Grandline and New World has to offer and she must say, they make a perfect audience.
The Kid Pirates: like Trafalgar Law, Eustass Captain Kid does not trust Jackie a bit but he also knows the weight of the power of information has so he plays nice. His new strategy lately trying to recruit her, he has found no current success on that front. His promises are many and varied: money (she had plenty of savings), protection (she was an excellent fighter thank you very much), incessant asks from their little winged pirate-to-be (tempting but Big News waits for no man, woman, or mink).
The Seven Warlords of the Sea: she thinks the the entire idea of the Warlord system is stupid and can be too easily taken advantage of by cruel and powerful pirates (and it was..twice). She also think the pirates who join are somewhat sellouts. Isn’t the whole appeal of being a pirate is playing by no one’s rules but your own? Choosing to join the Marines, even adjacently, feels like a cop out to her. The only exceptions in her eyes are Pirate Empress Boa Hancock and First Son of the Sea Jimbei since they so obviously joined to save their people.
(Her personal rankings go something like Jimbei, Boa, Mihawk, Crocodile, Gecko Moria, Donquixote Doflamingo.)
(Kuma remains unranked so far, something in her gut tells her there’s more than meets the eyes with the Tyrant.)
The Admirals: she understands for genuinely world ending threats they are a needed force but for anything below that feels like complete overkill. Whenever she’s at Marineford she usually gets dragged into doing some secretarial work for them which depending on who it is can range from an honestly pleasent interaction to her fantasizing about shoving his head through a electric meat grinder.
(Her ranking goes Fujitora, Kuzan, Kizaru, Akainu, and then Ryokugu.)
The Underworld: hates it and the overwhelming majority of people involved in it. To be fair there’s nothing to like about it anyway, it’s a swirling cesspool of the worst humanity has to offer (yes that includes her too). Other than her boss Stussy is the only one she can tolerate.
Big News Morgan: likes him because they’re so similar and hates him because they’re too similar. She’s grateful for him taking her in and she loves her job but she also knows he just kinda sucks?? As a person?? If she thinks about it too hard it makes her dizzy with indecision so she tries not to.
Red Haired Pirates: The weird drunk uncles of the sea, they loved snatching her hat away to ruffle her hair and asking her to join in on whatever merry pirate ditty they happened to be belting out, she declined and instead procured an instrument to jam along with. Shanks was easily one of the most convoluted individuals she’s ever met, she’s dying to know what makes him tick even though she knows he’ll never tell her. A girl can dream, can’t she?
Dark King Rayleigh + Former Empress Shakky: she’s in awe of them! She practically begs to hear his tales of his time as the right hand man to the King of the Pirates and her anecdotes as ruler of the Amazon Lily! Rayleigh usually acquiesces but occasionally he (and Shakky) like to tease her for her eagerness but she can’t help it!! They’re just so cool!!
Whitebeard Pirates: if she’s there, it’s always for a big order and a big order usually means either weapons restock or a party. The members of the Whitebeard pirates always seem worried about her, offering hot meals and checkups while she’s there and threatening to head up to the WE NEWS blimp whenever she complains about work. She doubles down, acts extremely cheery the next time she sets foot on the Moby Dick and it works…mostly. Edward Newgate, father to dozens of wayward souls can’t be tricked with a child’s lie.
Big Mom Pirates: she had the pleasure of meeting Charlotte Linlin shortly after being taken in so she got Mom mode for 2.5 years. The Charlottes have taken to her in all their years of business together and are delightful hosts when she visits. It probably helps that she shares a birthday with a Sweet Commander so they love to invite her to Whole Cake Island to celebrate together!
Beast Pirates: she actively has to be forced to go to Wano, the SMILE Fruits users give her the heebie jeebies! Not to mention once when discussing some newly produced and shipped North Blue scotch The King of Beasts had called for her and, while incredibly drunk, started rambling to her about his lack of willingness to live. It went on for a while before a Tobi Roppo member found them and escorted her out. Easily the longest 20 mins of her life…
Blackbeard Pirates: truly and wholly detests them, especially their captain. She keeps a calm and indifferent mask on when she has to interact with them but she refuses niceties. Teach is offended by this and loudly recalls memories of how sweet and accommodating she was back on the Moby Dick whenever she’s in earshot.
Cross Guild: the business model of placing bounties on Marines for even civilians to collect and then when said civilians are marked as criminals welcoming them into the group is ingenious! She’s surprised no one has thought of it before. The idea of Buggy being its head with Sir Crocodile and Dracule Mihawk acting as his wings is laughable. There’s not a snowball’s chance in hell that just happened! Now if she could only get 5 mins alone with the Genius Jester, she’s sure she can get the real story…
The Revolutionary Army: if she wasn’t very dedicated to her current job, she could definitely see herself as a member. Conflicts of interest to her lifestyle aside, she really wants them to succeed and is usually the one pushing for their stories to be the front page. If she ever spots some Revs on a mission she’ll, despite her curiosity, leave them to their work. And if a stray arrows happens to knock aside some marines and move some slaves away from a nearby explosion…well who’s to say it was her? Forgery is on the rise lately yknow? You can never be too sure…

One Piece AU where the pirates have two factions; Peace Mains and Morgania. (Reference: Romance Dawn by Eiichiro Oda)
Peace Mains: Pirates who made a living by hunting Morgania.
Morgania: Pirates who made a living by pillaging and committing crimes.
Basically a more slice of life AU with some major lore, with Luffy looking for adventures rather than One Piece and meeting new friends along the way.
Ace and Sabo followed suit because Crocodile knows that his youngest won't be able to avoid trouble. All three aims to make a crew consisting of Peace Mains pirates.
They basically travel around for weeks and for 2 months and then they go back to their hometown. The rest of the Strawhats joined but they sometimes go do their own thing sometimes. Somehow they're always nearby when the brothers get themselves into trouble. Is it fate?
For the Shichibukai, they're made out of the strongest Peace Mains and they're the top amongst the pirates. They control a large region and prevents Morgania pirates from causing havoc. Unlike canon they don't work with the Marines and aside from nicknames from the public no one knows their true identity, the only exception being Kuma.
Crocodile: He guards Alabasta and the surrounding area. As a warlord, he is known for punishing Morgania pirates to near death as a warning. He is known as Mr. 0 by the Marines due to the number nickname given to his underlings and the Desert King due to the area he rules over. He often appear without his head during Baroque Works meetings, so not even his coworkers know how he looks like.
Dracule Mihawk: Known as the Sharp-Eyed Man and the Marine Hunter by the Marines, he is known for working alone. He takes down Marines and Morgania Pirates from the shadows, his hawk mask covering his face. He lives alone on an island until he met Zoro and Perona. He starts to leave his island more often. Used to be a normal hawk when he was hit with a Devil Fruit power that turns animal into humans.
Gecko Moria: Doesn't go by any epithet, but he is whispered amongst the Marines like an urban legend of the seas. Not much is known about him.
Kuma: Was called the Tyrant and the only one who the Marines know for sure his identity is. He never stays in one place for long, but wherever he goes the people said that a big, gentle man helps them.
Boa Hancock: Nicknamed Medusa, all who laid their eyes on her become stone, and they all forget how she looks like after turning back. Lives in Amazon Lily and send out ships to help free slaves to the outside world. Hopeless romantic. She and Jinbe are friends.
Jinbe: Known as the Knight of the Seas. He frees slaves and destroy human auction houses. Marines are not sure if he's human or something else. He went to Amazon Lily shore on weekends for tea with Hancock.
Donquixote Doflamingo: Known as the Heavenly Yaksha, he always foils Marines plans to capture Peace Mains pirates. His brother, Rosinante is still alive alongside their parents. Rosi joins the Marines and along with Sengoku resolves to make sure the Marines don't do much harm. He works at a boutique belonging to his parents when not doing pirates stuff. Law is his adopted nephew and Doffy isn't sure if the kid knows or not that he's a pirate.

Chapter 1099 Spoilers
The calm before the storm...
This chapter sets up a ton for next week while simultaneously paying off things that happened hundreds of chapters earlier. Kuma's title as "tyrant," the timeskip islands, even the name of the pacifistas all have an explanation (except where Bonney got her fruit lol). I especially love the montage of islands, each one has significance to Kuma trying to find a cure for Bonney (but why did he visited Mihawk? How much does Mihawk know about Kuma??)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To add to the "everything connects" of it all, Becori got his idea of burning the kingdom from Goa and Grey Terminal!
Tumblr media
For set-up, Kuma says he'd "make a deal with the devil" and then we immediately cut to Saturn- Oda is continuing the visual comparison of the Elders to demons, significant since Kuma is a man of faith and called a saint by Vegapunk. Also, Vegapunk's good intentions have already been ruined by snail-tapping, similar to chapter 1095 when the well-meaning doctor tried to protect the Buccaneer secret but was immediately discovered.
Tumblr media
Vegapunk plans to cure Bonney with a stem cell transplant but I doubt things will go to plan. The gov will probably capture Bonney and Kuma will probably become a cyborg to protect her, which Bonney doesn't know about because she thinks she'll be cured naturally at age 10, not from Vegapunk's procedure.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm still verrrry suspicious of what will happen to Bonney though. It's been implied in earlier chapters that the admirals know her and feared her escape, and that Vegapunk has at some point created a "living, breathing person." What are you planning, Oda?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A couple non-plot details: Dragon says to "go where the winds of fate take you," interesting since he most likely has a wind-related devil fruit. Also, more blue stone appears on Bonney's face over time. She just can't help herself, she wants to go outside!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
No break next week :)

Kuma has many identities that from outside its hard to figure what he really is other than being of chaos. He's a revolutionary, a tyrant, a pirate, and then a war machine.
But those who knows the truth of him know what he really is. That he is just a father.

Sanji/Germa Kingdom and Uranus
As I've read some theories about the Ancient Weapons, something about Sanji specifically caught my attention. It's probably more of a big coincidence rather than something Oda planned, but I found it interesting nonetheless and wanted to share with whoever reads this.
So, by now, everyone has already noticed that the three weapons have a connection with three Greco Roman deities, who in turn are connected with the three last planets of the solar system (when Pluto was still considered a planet).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Along with that, a lot of people noticed that the Straw Hats' three main fighters (after Luffy) each have a connection with these weapons through their mothers' name and/or titles.
Pluton-> Pluto (Roman)-> Hades (Greek name)-> God of the Underworld (Hell)-> Underworld-> Earth (Tera is his mother) -> Zoro: King of Hell
Poseidon-> Neptune (Roman)-> Poseidon: God of the Seas-> Sea-> Jimbei: First Son of the Sea/Knight of the Sea
Uranus-> Father Sky, the personification of the Heavens (before Zeus took over)-> Sky-> Sora (Sky) Vinsmoke and Sora, Warrior of the Sea -> Sanji
But there is another connection, at least for the two first weapons: their locations also were deeply connected with Zoro and Jimbei. How?
Jimbei is from Fishmen Island -> that's where Poseidon is located.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Zoro's ancestors came from Wano -> where Pluton is located
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This could be just a very odd coincidence that Oda might not have noticed he did, but let's assume, for the sake of this theory, that it was planned.
With the connection that Sanji shares with Uranus, it might also give us a hint as to where it might be hidden, or was hidden.
If this connection was made on purpose, we have two possibilities:
1. First one is the Germa Kingdom. We can suspect that Sanji's origin story still is not over and the past of the Vinsmokes still is a bit mysterious to us. We heard that they were taken down by the Marines because they were tyrannical rulers, but there's a big chance it was a lie (Oda even let this idea hang in the air through Vito).
Tumblr media
The Marines and WG love to spread fake rumors through propaganda to discredit their enemies. They did that with Kuma, who might not have been a tyrannical ruler, but only an enemy of the WG.
Tumblr media
Thia part of the theory will be more of speculation and I needs a lot more evidence in the manga, but let's do it for fun.
We can suspect the GK probably was a threat to the WG not because of its tyrannical rule (we have seen a lot of tyrant leaders in OP and most of the time, nothing is done to stop them as long as there is no threat to the WG), but because they might've been hiding something related to the AK OR threatening the rule of the WG in some way (or both). I always found it interesting how Oda chose to make GK a powerful Kingdom, so powerful it was able to rule over the entire North Blue.
And the fact that, after Germa's defeat, they decided to publish stories that portrayed the Vinsmokes as villains might indicate that they probably were the opposite and their only real "crime" was to threaten the WG in some way.
As you can already suspect with the beginning of this thread, the crime could have been connected with the Ancient Weapons - and after they lost, the WG probably took their territory and every information and weaponry they had.
Something that bugs me about Germa too is the fact that they are a country without land to rule over and Judge is actively trying to take the North back but at the same time, they have the recognition of the WG to attend the Reverie. Why? Wouldn't they, even before the WCI fiasco, have realized that?
And if the Vinsmokes once ruled over the entire North Blue, they surely had some type of capital, like Alubarna, right? What happened to that place? Was it destroyed like Ohara? Or is it under the WG's control?
One of the other factors that could go against this theory is that the Germa Kingdom began 300 years ago - 600 years after the Void Century, so there could be no way the Vinsmokes knew about Joyboy like, i.e. Queen Lili did. Or could it?

You see, that period referred to the time when the GK took over the entire North, but they probably existed a long time before that, as an expanding kingdom. We don't really know for how long the Vinsmokes existed and ruled.
2. The other option is that Uranus could have been hidden in the birthplace of Sora, Sanji's mother. However, we do not know her origins, much less the reasons for her to marry Judge. We can reach a little and assume that because of her name, she could have come from a Sky Island? Sanji himself seems to share some interesting connection with the Sky elements (and sters) and in recent chapters a lot of fans pointed out his interest in stargazing and even Oda's weird drawing connecting him with UFOs and even space elements itself. But this part has even less evidence than the Germa option, so we will have to wait and see.
The fact remains that Germa is probably coming back, and with it we might find out more about its past along with Sora's. And with the manga coming to an end and focusing more on the Void Century, I don't think it's far-fetched to assume that Germa might hold some important connection with it that will surely help the Straw Hats in their future adventures. Only time will tell. Thanks for reading this crazy theory!
Again, I know most of it has no foundation, but I felt like it would be interesting to point out before we got the definite answer. If you have any theories of where Uranus might be hidden, feel free to comment!
